The new season of the Summit Avenue Music Series will begin September 15th, 2019 at 3:00pm in Martin Luther College’s Chapel of the Christ with Tangos, et cetera. Featuring violinist Soh-Hyun Park Altino, cellist Leonardo Altino, and pianist Bethel Balge, the program includes:

  • Three Romances Op. 22 by Clara Schumann (Park Altino and Balge)
  • Chaconne in D Minor from Partita No. 2, BWV 1004 by JS Bach (Park Altino)
  • Le Grand Tango by Astor Piazzolla (Altino and Balge)
  • Romance for Violin and Piano Op. 23 by Amy Beach (Park Altino and Balge)
  • Requiebros by Gaspar Cassadó (Altino and Balge)
  • Poema III for Cello and Piano by Marlos Nobre (Altino and Balge)
  • Trio No. 2, Op. 76 by Joaquin Turina  (Park Altino, Altino and Balge)
